Elindultunk visszafelé! Elértük az Egyesült Államok nyugati felét, majd háromnapi pihenést követően újból útnak indultunk. A következő állomás pedig nem más, mint Las Vegas volt. Los Angelest elhagyva, viszonylag gyorsan, kb 4 és fél - 5 óra alatt megjártuk az utat. Mivel eddig szerencsénk volt a szállásokkal, ezért úgy döntöttünk, hogy Vegasban egy kaszinó vendégei leszünk az éjszakára. A választásunk a Stratosphere hotelre esett, mivel az ajánlatuk is kedvező volt, és innen nyílik a legjobb kilátás a Bűn városára. Habár már délután három órakor megérkeztünk, nagyon sokat nem tudtunk csinálni, mert őrjítő hőség, 47 Celsius fok uralkodott, ami még este is csak 38-40 fokra csökkent le. Este azonban elhatároztuk magunkat, hogy végig megyünk a Las Vegas strip-en, legyen akármilyen meleg is. A séta alatt megtekintettük a híresebb kaszinókat, mint pl.: Circus Circus, Mirage, Bellagio és Cézár palotáját is megnéztük kívülről. Majdnem éjfél volt, mire sikerült visszaérnünk a szobánkba, ahol már elviselhető volt a nagy meleg, köszönhetően a légkondinak. Másnap reggel tovább is álltunk, nem maradtunk kaszinózni egy kicsit, mert még hosszú út áll előttünk, és szükségünk lesz egy kis pénzre.

We are coming back now! We reached the western part of the United States and after three days of resting we are on the road again. Our next destination was Las Vegas. After we left Los Angeles, we got to Vegas relatively quick, it took only 4 and a half – 5 hours of driving. We were lucky with the accommodations so far, so we decided that we are going to be the guests of a casino for one night. We picked the Stratosphere Hotel, because of their prices and the fact, that we can see the whole Sin city from their tower. Although we arrived around 3 o’clock in the afternoon, we couldn’t do anything, because of the crazy hot weather, the 47 Celsius, which still was 38-40 after dusk. In the evening, we decided to go along on the Las Vegas Strip, no matter how warm the weather is. During the tour we visited the famous casinos such as: Circus Circus, The Mirage, Bellagio and Caesar’s Palace. It was almost midnight, when we got back to our room, which was tolerable in the hot weather, due to its air condition. The next morning we left Las Vegas, without any gambling, because we still have a long road ahead of us, and we need every dime of it.
